Welcome to Park Alandia Hotel, a comfortable family-owned hotel by the lush Esplanade alley in the centre of Mariehamn. Our thoroughly upgraded hotel is close to cafés, shopping, activities and sights in town, but still in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Here you can sleep well and undisturbed.
Our homely hotel offers individual service. We thrive to offer all our guests an enjoyable stay and to make them feel at home. We offer 92 rooms of which 6 are accessible for disabled, together with most of the premises in our hotel and restaurant.
Our newly built banquet and conference rooms seat up to 110 guests in theatre seating and up to 80 persons in classroom seating. The conference area can be divided into three smaller rooms of which one has a capacity up to 60 persons while the two smaller rooms seat 20 guests each.
Apart from conferences the conference rooms are perfect for parties, weddings, shareholders’ meetings, lectures and other get-togethers. Next to the conference rooms there is a spacious and light lounge where we serve morning and afternoon coffee. From the conference floor you can take the stairs down to our charming restaurant.
Åland – the perfect conference destination
Åland is located in the middle of the Baltic Sea with good connections from abroad. The ferry crossings from Grisslehamn and Kapellskär in Roslagen in Sweden take only 2–2.5 hours. The conference can also be started during a ferry crossing through the beautiful archipelagos of Stockholm or Turku. Onboard the ferry you can have the meeting and enjoy shopping and activities. The ferries from Stockholm and Turku arrive to Mariehamn in the afternoon, just in time for an afternoon coffee at Park Alandia Hotel. On the departure day you can eat lunch before the homebound ferry trip.
Åland’s geographical location between Sweden and Finland makes Mariehamn a perfect meeting-point for companies that operate in both Sweden and Finland. There are also regular flight connections to Mariehamn from Sweden and Finland. The flight from Arlanda Sweden takes only 25 minutes.
We work for sustainability and the hotel has been certified according to Green Key environmental sustainability criteria in autumn 2018. We are currently working for obtaining a Green Key certification for our restaurant.
We help our guests with all arrangements for an inspiring meeting – from well-timed coffee breaks to varied side activities. There is a broad variety of physical activities available for all tastes – everything from physical activities, such as kayaking, yoga, zumba and team building, to more tranquil activities including wine tastings, cooking classes with master chef Michael Björklund, brewery visits and museums.
If your group wishes to stay on site at the hotel we can recommend beverage tastings or relaxing mingle at the hotel bar. The bar offers fine atmosphere and live music entertainment every night from Wednesday to Saturday. Since January 2018 you can also use our upgraded sauna and pool sections.

Accommodation
Since June 2018 we offer 3 new suites, 89 newly renovated rooms of which 6 are accessible for disabled. The rooms are in two annexes in the inner yard so that you can enjoy peace and quiet even in the town centre. The suites are located in the front side of the hotel with a splendid view of the park with a lush linden tree alley.

Restaurant and bar
The hotel houses a restaurant with focus on locally produced raw-produce. Try the Park restaurant’s classic spiced beef, our parade dish that has been on our menu since 1976. You can round up the evening in our bar that is popular among our guests and locals alike. Live music is played from Wednesday to Saturday.
Our restaurant seats 76 guests and the bar offers seating for 70 guests. We can also cater meals for up to 80 persons in our conference section.
Our popular bar has live troubadour music and concerts every week from Wednesday to Saturday. Free entry.
Exhibition area
The conference section covers 138 sq. metres and the lounge 49 sq. metres.
